Frequently Asked Questions
How many PDFs can I merge at once?
Up to 20 PDFs in a single merge. Add them in any order, then drag to arrange.
Will the merged PDF preserve bookmarks and links?
Page content is preserved exactly. Top-level bookmarks from the first PDF are retained; bookmarks from subsequent PDFs may not carry over.
Is there a file-size limit?
Each file can be up to 100MB. Very large PDFs (500+ pages) may take a few seconds on slower devices.
Are my PDFs uploaded to your server?
No. Merging uses pdf-lib running in your browser. Your PDFs never leave your device.
Can I merge a specific page range from each PDF?
Not in this tool — it merges full documents. Use Split PDF first to extract the pages you want, then merge those.
