Frequently Asked Questions

What happens with multi-page PDFs?

Every page becomes a JPG. Multi-page outputs are bundled into a single ZIP. Single-page PDFs download as a plain JPG.

What resolution should I pick?

150 DPI is a good default for screen viewing. Choose 300 DPI for print quality, or 72 DPI for tiny thumbnails.

Are my PDFs uploaded?

No. Rendering uses PDF.js running in a Web Worker inside your browser. Your PDF never leaves your device.

Encrypted PDFs?

Password-protected PDFs aren't supported — remove the password first.

Will text be searchable?

No — JPG output is a flat raster image. For searchable text, keep the original PDF.
